Urges to overcome the crisis in alley commercial areas and create a win-win ecosystem for delivery platforms

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Businesses issued a comment on this day and said, "Based on his experience and knowledge in various legislative and budget activities, we hope that Minister Lee will take the lead in overcoming the complex difficulties faced by small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners, such as high interest rates, high inflation, and delayed domestic demand recovery, and leap forward as a leading player in economic growth."

The Korea Federation of SMEs and Startups emphasized, "Please clarify and specify the role of small and medium-sized businesses in the national core growth strategy and strive to overcome the K-shaped polarization facing our economy by reforming the cost structure of small business owners. As polarization between large and small businesses may become more serious in the era of artificial intelligence (AI), we hope that you will also focus your policy capacity on AI conversion and digital innovation for small and medium-sized businesses."

The Small Business Federation also commented in a commentary, saying, "Fundamental measures are needed to break the vicious cycle of 'many generations, many deaths', which is a structural problem in the small business industry," and suggested, "To reduce the loss of social capital due to the closure of 1 million people a year, we should regularize 'communication venues' with small business owners."

The Korea Women Entrepreneurs Association also said, "We believe that the expertise that Minister Lee has accumulated through her experience in government affairs, combined with the communication skills and field sense unique to female leaders, will create a strong policy synergy," and added, "We hope that effective customized policies that can be felt by women's businesses, such as revitalizing the female entrepreneurship ecosystem, developing sales channels, and expanding investment, will be implemented with speed."

The Korea Venture Capital Association suggested, "Please promote 'vitalization of the recovery market' as a key policy task for the global leap forward of the venture ecosystem," and "Please attract large institutional investors to KOSDAQ to improve the individual-oriented market structure and lay the foundation for expanding the participation of private funds in venture capital."
