Chinese Journalist Condemns Ukrainian Attack on Starobelsk College

LUGANSK, September 25. /TASS/. The killing of women, children and civilians is a "red line" that Ukrainian forces crossed by attacking the Starobelsk college in the Lugansk People’s Republic, Chinese journalist Li Xiang told TASS.

"You know, whatever you support and wherever you come from, the main thing is not to kill children, students, women, civilians or peaceful residents. I believe this is some kind of red line that must not be crossed," he said, commenting on the Ukrainian attack on Starobelsk.

On the night of May 22, Ukrainian forces used drones to attack an academic building and dormitory of the Starobelsk Pedagogical College of Lugansk State Pedagogical University in the LPR. Twenty-one people were killed. Eighty-six children were present at the educational institution at the time of the attack.

Earlier, it was reported that representatives of 13 foreign media outlets from 11 countries had visited the LPR. The journalists arrived in the region to gather information about events in Donbass and report on them to audiences in their countries.
