Collision between trucks leaves driver dead and other victims injured in the interior of Ceará

The driver of one of the vehicles, a 57-year-old man, was rescued and taken to a hospital in the region, but he did not survive and died.

In a statement, the Secretariat of Public Security and Social Defense (SSPDS) reported that other victims were injured and were taken to a health unit. The exact number of victims and their identities were not disclosed.

Teams from the Ceará Military Police, the Ceará Military Fire Department and the Ceará Forensic Expertise were also called to the incident.

The circumstances of the accident are investigated by the Ceará Civil Police. The incident is under the responsibility of the Morada Nova Civil Police Station.
