The two minors from the minicar gang confess: "We had so much fun that night"

A minicar which appears to correspond to the one used for the attacks on 4 and 5 October in Rome, including the one which seriously injured the actor Davide Iacopini, who is still hospitalized with a guarded prognosis, was seized during the night by the Carabinieri and local police. Two people have been reported, accused of being on board the vehicle as driver and passenger.

The two passengers of the minicar accused of six attacks in the capital were heard last night in the barracks by the Rome prosecutor's office. The two admitted the facts. Two minors - a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old - are the perpetrators of the attacks on the actor Davide Iacopini and five other people which occurred between 4 and 5 October in Rome. The two were identified by the Carabinieri and local police officers coordinated by the Rome prosecutors. The young man driving the black minicar lives in Monteverde, his friend in Testaccio. The file now comes to the attention of the Prosecutor's Office at the juvenile court.

One of those reported for the minicar attacks is said to be the son of a policeman and in particular is the owner of the vehicle. We arrived at the black minicar thanks also to the testimony of a mechanic who said he had mounted red LEDs near the license plate and placed stickers on the minicar used by the two. According to what was said, the two were celebrating the birthday of one of them between 4 and 5 October. The charge for the two - reported at large - is attempted murder but it will now be up to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office to evaluate the prosecution case.

On the mobile phone of one of the minors, who confessed to the attack on the actor Davide Iacopini and five other people, an application was found that monitored the movements of those that parents of minors download to monitor their children. The car was identified and seized.
