Digitization of business registration in Poland

How will this work?

For people who are just starting their adventure with business, a special path has been prepared in the mObywatel application. The service, available since April this year, automatically downloads some data from state registers, which significantly facilitates the registration process. However, the full scope of formalities, such as reporting for VAT or additional insurance to ZUS, is still handled by the biznes.gov.pl portal.

After successfully submitting the application, the system automatically sends an official confirmation of receipt to the entrepreneur's e-mail address.

What will change for entrepreneurs?

New regulations mean not only convenience, but also new obligations. There will be a separate category in the CEIDG system for the company owner's e-mail address, and the address data must be consistent with the state TERYT register.

To authorize applications, it will be possible to use a trusted profile, a qualified electronic signature or a personal signature from an e-ID. All forms must also meet digital accessibility standards for people with disabilities.

What's next? The next stages of digitization

This is just the beginning of the changes. From November 1, 2028, full digitization will also include all changes to entries, suspensions and deletions of activities.

For civil partnerships, the so-called "one window" - a system that allows simultaneous transfer of data to ZUS, KRUS, GUS and the tax office. Another new feature will be the possibility of concluding a civil partnership agreement online using a ready-made template, similarly to the S24 system for commercial companies.
