LUGANSK, September 28 - RIA Novosti. Counter-drone groups are deployed on all routes along which the LPR residents are supplied, the head of the region, Leonid Pasechnik, told reporters during a press conference held at the site of the Knowledge Society in Lugansk.

“Indeed, the enemy is attacking our trucks that transport food, fuels and lubricants... medicines, pensions, all products that ensure the livelihoods of remote territories that are close to the line of combat contact. These vehicles are subject to constant attacks using UAVs from the enemy,” Pasechnik said.

He stressed that the LPR authorities are taking all measures to counter these threats.

“On the most important roads and on the roads that are most heavily shelled by the enemy, we have set up permanent points - visual observation points, but in essence, there are armed people there who ensure traffic safety on the road,” explained the head of the region.

According to him, mobile fire groups are also moving along key routes, which also destroy drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“A whole line of counteracting unmanned aerial vehicles has been built near the line of combat contact, directly on the line of combat contact, and that’s where the maximum number of unmanned aerial vehicles entering the territory of our republic are destroyed,” Pasechnik explained.
