A pilot project “Russian Robots” will be launched in Tyumen by the end of the year.

TYUMEN, September 16 – RIA Novosti. The Russian pilot project “Russian Robots” is planned to be launched in Tyumen by the end of the year; for this, the region has the necessary competencies and infrastructure, technoculturologist and project ideologist Ivan Karpushkin said at the TNF International Industrial and Energy Forum.

The initiative was announced at the session “Russian Robots”: a national system of robotic creativity and education,” which was held with the participation of the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov.

“I present the project “Russian Robots”. This is a national system of robotic creativity and education. We propose to deploy it in the Greater Tyumen Region, to launch it in pilot mode, since the Tyumen Region of all regions has the greatest readiness and maturity for such a project. In fact, we are planning to launch this project at the traditional marathon of science and fiction in December,” said Karpushkin.

Governor of the Tyumen region Alexander Moor thanked the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the initiators of the pilot project for their trust in the region, assuring that there are enough competencies here, now they need to be combined and systematized.

“This matter needs to be finalized only from the point of view of process management, because the ideological framework is absolutely clear. The most important thing is that we have a community of people whose eyes sparkle and who are ready to do this,” commented Alexander Moor on the initiative.

According to Karpushkin, the Russian Robots project could become a kind of “incubator for the country’s technological sovereignty.” It is expected that a single educational open standard will be formed with a common platform for modeling, development and exchange of solutions. It will provide end-to-end vertical and horizontal connectivity - all areas of activity from kindergarten to high-tech production. At the same time, it is proposed to implement the project using Russian components and subject to openness to the world: all global latest solutions should be immediately included in the project outline.

The launch of the pilot project "Russian Robots" in Tyumen will be discussed on September 17 at the TNF International Industrial and Energy Forum. In a month, a discussion of the component base and selection of design solutions will take place in Tver in the format of a meeting of the Heritage-21 club. A meeting is scheduled in Murmansk, at which the methodological foundations of this project will be discussed, after which the project will be officially launched.
