Video game businessman Li Guanlong opened gambling video games and baccarat casinos in Wanhua and Songshan, Taipei City. The prosecutor found that when Yang Jianliang was the security team leader of Wanhua Branch, in order to protect the Fuxing Casino operated by Li Guanlong in his jurisdiction, on the evening of November 7, 2024, he went to the inspector surnamed Shi who had inspected the casino and told him that a friend had opened a casino there. He asked him to reveal the news before he wanted to investigate, but he was refused on the spot.

Still unwilling to give up, Yang Nan asked Inspector Shi to meet again the next month and asked him to notify him in advance if he wanted to inspect Fuxing Game Center and Fuxing Amusement Park. He also offered 30,000 people to pay bribes, but he was still refused.

Seeing that the time was ripe on September 4 last year, the prosecutor ordered the investigation bureau officers to divide into Route 31 to bring back Yang Jianliang and 13 other related defendants, and search their residences, offices and other places. It was also found in the account books of Li Guanlong's two casinos in Songshan District that their turnover from January to September exceeded 2 billion yuan.

The source was actually Ke Wenzhe's former aide Lin Yiwei (now retired) and his girlfriend. In-depth investigation revealed that Li Guanlong and Lin Yiwei were neighbors of the company and tenants of Xiang Lin’s ex-wife’s uncle. They rented the third floor of the Lion Forest Building from him. They had known each other for many years. While Yang Jianliang was working at the Nangang Branch, he had a close friendship with Lin Yiwei, but whether there is any connection between the two is under investigation separately.
