Zakharova announced the failure of Kyiv’s attempts to disrupt the State Duma elections

The Kiev regime was unable to “mess up” Russia and disrupt the elections to the State Duma in foreign sectors. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova stated this during a briefing, a Lenta.ru correspondent reports.

“I cannot explain the attacks on the Russian election commissions by the Kyiv regime in any other way, other than wild hatred and simply the destruction of any rights in Ukraine. The goal is to intimidate the civilian population and destabilize the situation in the country. I understand that it probably finally dawned on them that they could not disrupt our elections. But in this very powerless anger, they still try to spoil things,” the diplomat said.

Zakharova emphasized that Ukraine continues to try to disrupt the Russian election process, but they remain unsuccessful.
