The "Nanhua Cup-Meet Darling Castle Marathon" in Dalin Town, Chiayi County will be held at 6:10 a.m. on December 20. This time, with the theme of "Running through three castles, getting to know Happy Dalin. Seeing the beauty of Nanhua", it will combine Dalin Town's characteristic castles, tourist factories, and the University of Nanhua campus. The scenery allows runners to enjoy the scenery of Slow City. Registration for the event is open now, and a campus-only discount plan is launched. Faculty, students, graduate alumni, and retired faculty and staff of colleges and universities such as Nanhua University, National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi University, Wu Feng University of Science and Technology, and Chongren College of Healthcare Management can apply for a NT$200 discount.

This event is jointly organized by the University of Nanhua and Dalin Town Government. It plans to include a full marathon, a half marathon, a 14-kilometer challenge group, an 8-kilometer leisure group, a 3-kilometer Lohas walking group, and a 3-kilometer walking sustainable economy group. The route of the road race starts from the track and field of the University of South China. Along the way, it connects three castles in the Dabu Mei Precision Machinery Park, Gaia Manor, Jordenice Castle, Olevo Dream Castle, and many tourist factories. Not only can you appreciate the natural landscape and cultural features of the University of South China, but you can also enjoy the dreamy scenery of European-style castles, and taste Dalin specialties at the supply station.

Gao Junxiong, President of the University of South China, said that in order to promote a healthy sports culture and encourage young students and campus teachers and students to actively participate, this road race launched a campus-limited discount plan. For faculty and students, retired faculty, and graduates of five colleges and universities including the University of Nanhua, the registration fee can be reduced by 200 yuan. Participants will receive a discount of 200 yuan. On the day of the event, bring relevant supporting documents to the service desk, and RMB 200 will be refunded after confirming your identity. A 10% discount will be provided for the number of registrants exceeding 10, and a 10% discount will be provided for the number of registrants reaching 30. The conference will arrange a rest area on the day, hoping that runners can experience the beauty of Nanhua and experience the charm of Happy Dalin's Slow City by participating in sports events.
