CCTV News: The 2026 China Outdoor Sports Industry Conference will be held in Changping District, Beijing, from October 15th to 18th. This conference, with the theme of "Beijing Outdoor Science and Technology Creates the Future", is hosted by the All-China Sports Federation and co-organized by the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, Beijing Changping District People's Government, and China Sports Industry Group.

The 2026 Outdoor Conference met in Changping, Beijing, and realized the upgrade of the concept from "narrative of green waters and green mountains" to the integrated development of urban outdoor, specifically presenting the following four highlights:
"New experience" releases new momentum for consumption upgrades. Innovate experience forms and contents, create an immersive experience area that integrates industrial display, sports experience, and quality consumption, build an "outdoor sports +" system covering all people and all time periods, and promote the upgrade of outdoor consumption from functional to experiential and quality.

Give full play to Beijing's historical and cultural resources, natural ecological resources and "Double Olympics" heritage advantages to create a new benchmark for international urban outdoor. Promote the shaping and dissemination of outdoor sports culture, connect the entire industry chain of culture, sports, agriculture, business and tourism, connect outdoor sports to industry, city and life, and build a new ecology of diversified integration.
"New technology" demonstrates the new heights of technological innovation. Promote the deep integration of outdoor sports and digital technology innovation, release outdoor intelligent systems, demonstrate the application of artificial intelligence, virtual reality and digital intelligent scenes in the sports field, and empower the outdoor sports industry with technological solutions.
According to the arrangement, this conference includes five sections: opening ceremony, theme activities, resource promotion, experience performances, and events, building a new ecosystem of global integration.
Opening Ceremony: The opening ceremony of this conference will deeply integrate the local cultural heritage of Changping District and the youthful outdoor trend, and use cutting-edge technology to reconstruct the stage narrative. The on-site release and display of authoritative reports, innovative results, and benchmark cases on the national outdoor sports industry will panoramically open the era of comprehensive integration of outdoor sports and shared by all people.
Theme activities: The theme activities of the conference are divided into two parts: theme activities and special activities. Event activities: This conference relies on Changping's ecological endowment of mountains and rivers and world cultural heritage resources to host two national outdoor brand events, the Beijing Changping Juyongguan Great Wall Cross-Country Challenge and the China "Legend" Challenge (Changping Station).
