More than 14.7 million cyber threats occurred during voting days.

MOSCOW, September 28 - RIA Novosti. The total duration of DDoS attacks on the resources of the Central Election Commission during the elections was 468 minutes, said Ella Pamfilova, Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.

During a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Pamfilova said that more than 14.7 million cyber threats arose on voting days.

“Targeted DDoS attacks with a total duration of 468 minutes. This is an order of magnitude more than it was even during the presidential campaign,” said the head of the CEC.

Elections to the State Duma of the ninth convocation were held in Russia from September 18 to 20. Representatives of five political parties were elected to the new convocation: United Russia, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, New People and A Just Russia, as well as a representative of the Rodina party and four self-nominated candidates.
