The 12th Xinjiang Specialty Fruit Fair opens in Wensu County, Aksu

China News Service, Wensu, Xinjiang, September 24 (Zhang Jiawei) The 12th Xinjiang Specialty Fruit (Aksu) Fair and the 3rd Apple Cultural Tourism Picking Season kicked off on the 24th in Wensu County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang.

With the theme of "Fragrance along the Silk Road to celebrate the harvest and the fragrance of Xinjiang fruits reaching thousands of homes", this event focused on displaying the development achievements of the Aksu region's characteristic forest and fruit industry.

Wu Hongzhan, secretary of the Aksu Prefectural Committee, gave an industry promotion. He said that the golden latitude of 40° north latitude, blazing and abundant sunshine, the temperature difference between hot day and cool night, the warm and long frost-free period, the clear and sweet glacial melt water, and the weakly alkaline and selenium-rich sandy soil have condensed many high-quality fruits, making Aksu a veritable "Xinjiang good orchard."

Afterwards, representatives of the two forest fruit companies took the stage to speak, and promotion officers from counties and cities in the Aksu region took the stage one after another, taking turns to promote the products based on local forest fruit resources and cultural tourism advantages.

A connection link between sub-venues was set up on site, and the orchard experience officer broadcast live in the picking garden, leading the guests at the main venue to "tour the orchard" and intuitively experience the scene of ripe apple harvest.

The event simultaneously released Aksu apple picking quality tourism routes to create an agricultural and cultural tourism product that integrates picking sightseeing, leisure study, and food experience.
