SDIC Yangpu Port’s 100,000-ton public grain and oil terminal project enters the equipment installation stage

China News Service, Hainan Yangpu, September 25 (Ye Zhenzhong) CCCC Fourth Navigation Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. introduced on the 25th that the SDIC Yangpu Port 100,000-ton public grain and oil terminal project undertaken by it has recently completed the handover of three terminal structural sections and officially entered the loading and unloading equipment installation stage.

The terminal adopts a high-pile beam-slab hydraulic structure, with a total length of berth shoreline of 316 meters, and a designed annual throughput of 4.5 million tons. It is equipped with a supporting grain and oil loading, unloading, transportation and pipeline system. It is equipped with a buried scraper continuous ship unloader, a bucket door machine and a belt conveyor corridor system, and vegetable oil pipelines are laid along the main corridor.

The sea area where the project is being constructed has strong tides and waves, and the effective operation window period is short. At the same time, there are multiple difficulties such as high accuracy standards for pile foundation construction and cross-construction of multiple operating surfaces in the water area. The project construction team optimized the pile-sinking construction technology, dynamically adjusted the pile top elevation, deployed additional pile-carrying construction ships to seize the tidal operation window, coordinated the parallel construction of docks, approach bridges, and supporting facilities, and simultaneously promoted the construction of intelligent loading and unloading equipment and transportation corridors. Effectively improve construction accuracy and efficiency, ensure seamless connection of processes, and lay a solid foundation for the onshore installation of large-scale loading and unloading equipment.

As of September 2026, the project has completed all steel pipe pile sinking, pile core pouring, pile cap cast-in-place and prefabricated components. It is planned to complete the installation of all components by the end of this month, and will focus on the construction of the pouring surface layer and ancillary facilities in the future.

After the project is completed and put into operation, it will effectively improve the grain and oil cargo handling capacity of Yangpu Port, improve the supporting facilities of the regional grain supply chain, and help Yangpu build an export-oriented comprehensive hub for grain and oil processing, trade, and transit.
