华南师范大学党委书记王恒胤介绍，国务院印发的《教育发展“十五五”规划》明确提出“探索建设科技商学院，打通基础研究、应用开发、成果转化的创新链条”。学校成立科技商学院是学校贯彻教育科技人才一体发展部署、服务广东高质量发展和粤港澳大湾区建设的重要举措。学校将以此为契机，深化科技与商学融合，贯通创新链、产业链、资金链、人才链，以实际行动支撑国家创新驱动发展战略和广东科技创新强省建设。

据了解，作为华南师范大学的教学科研机构，科技商学院与经济与管理学院实行“一套机构、两块牌子”一体化办学模式。
