Only Russian President Vladimir Putin can impose a ban on attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. This is how State Duma deputy Andrei Kolesnik responded to the statement of the head of the White House, Donald Trump, as quoted by the newspaper Paragraph.

Earlier, Trump said that Russia and Ukraine agreed not to attack each other's energy facilities. According to the American leader, the rise in world prices for diesel fuel is mainly caused by the Ukrainian conflict, and not by the war between the United States and Iran.

According to the parliamentarian, Russia has its own military goals, which it is implementing. In turn, Ukraine, as Kolesnik noted, wants to restore energy facilities by winter, and then resume weapons production.
