Gyeonggi Province reorganizes the ‘Gyeonggi Climate Platform’… New solar power site analysis service provided

Gyeonggi Province announced on the 28th that it has reorganized the ‘Gyeonggi Climate Platform’ by providing new services.

The newly introduced ‘Solar Power Site Analysis Service’ helps local residents or companies select the land or building they want and check whether it is suitable for installing solar power generation facilities. It comprehensively shows the economic performance of power generation, related regulations, and the possibility of connecting to the power grid.

Previously, in order to check the possibility of installing solar power generation facilities, you had to search for related information from various organizations one by one, but with this reorganization, you can look at it all at once on the Gyeonggi Climate Platform.

In addition to providing new services, the screen and menu structure of the Gyeonggi Climate Platform were also reorganized to make it easier to use.

The difficult and specialized previous service names were changed to make them easier to understand, and the menus were reorganized by field so that you can quickly find the necessary climate and environmental information.

Byun Sang-gi, head of the Gyeonggi Province Climate and Environment Policy Department, said, "This reorganization is not limited to providing climate information, but focuses on enabling residents to use it directly in their daily lives. We will continue to discover services that residents can easily use and experience to increase accessibility to climate information."

The Gyeonggi Climate Platform is a service that provides various climate and environmental information, including climate disaster information such as landslide risk ratings and heat wave and flood risk maps, as well as trees and soil carbon absorption and storage throughout Gyeonggi-do, and the status of parks and green spaces.
