A woman lost her footing while drinking and enjoying the scenery at the Waimushan beach. Firefighters rescued her with a rope.

A woman from Keelung City was drinking and watching the sea alone at the Waimushan Beach in Keelung City last night. It was suspected that she wanted to sit on the guardrail of the trail to enjoy the scenery after being drunk. She accidentally lost her balance and fell about 3 meters under the guardrail into the grass. Keelung City firefighters received the report and successfully rescued the woman using ropes and ladders. She was sent to the hospital for treatment and was no longer in serious condition.

The Keelung City Fire Department received a report at about 11 o'clock last night that a person fell off the guardrail at Waimushan Beach, and immediately dispatched members of the Zhongshan Fire Department to rescue. When firefighters arrived, they found multiple empty beer cans left at the scene, and the injured woman was lying in the dark grass about one story deep, unable to move.

The firefighters turned on the lights while touching the injured. Although the trapped woman was conscious in the grass, due to fright and drunkenness, she kept shouting weakly: "My brother? Where is my brother?" While calming her emotions, the firefighters quickly conducted a preliminary assessment and confirmed that her vital signs were stable.

Due to the extremely poor visibility at night at the scene, Captain Cai Shunyu of the Zhongshan Fire Brigade led his team members to set up ladders and ropes, and carefully fixed the woman on the stretcher. The people above pulled the rope with all their strength, pulled up and down to search and rescue, and successfully pulled the woman back to the trail. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance for examination. Fortunately, her life was not in danger.

The brother of the woman who fell and injured her told the police that he was worried about his sister going out drinking alone, so he drove here to pick her up and take her home. Unexpectedly, as soon as the car stopped, he saw his sister swaying by the guardrail, and the next second she lost her footing and fell. He was frightened on the spot.
