Charging service will be easier by using storage systems in locations where seasonal charging needs are high, such as holidays, and charging queues form. According to the statement made by EMRA, charging services can be provided at high-power charging stations by directly utilizing electricity storage systems without the need to increase the grid connection capacity. While the decision encourages the combined use of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and storage technologies, it will contribute to the creation of a more flexible, efficient and investment-viable model in the integration of charging stations into the network. The introduction of storage systems in short-term periods when charging demand is high will help keep the power drawn from the grid within the agreed power, while allowing charging stations to have charging equipment with higher installed power. In the previous application, the installed power of the storage facility that could be integrated into the charging station was limited to the contractual power of the charging facility.
