Driver lost direction and crashed with a vehicle in Esenyurt, 1 dead, 1 seriously injured

In Esenyurt, the driver lost control of the steering wheel and hit pedestrians passing by. As a result of the accident, one person died and another person was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver was taken into custody to be questioned.

The accident occurred around 23.30 on Esenyurt Ardıçlı Mahallesi Doğan Araslı Boulevard. According to the information obtained, Süleyman Yasin D., the driver of the car with plate number 34 GYM 567, lost control of his car and hit Necdat Sancarbarlaz and Mehmet Yalçın, who were passing by. Upon notice, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. In the initial studies carried out by the medical teams at the scene, it was determined that Sancarbarlaz died at the scene. Mehmet Yalçın, who was determined to be seriously injured, was taken to the hospital after first aid at the scene. It was learned that Yalçın's life danger continues. Driver Süleyman Yasin D. was taken under guard by police teams after a health check. The body of Sancarbarlaz, who lost his life, was taken to the morgue of Esenyurt State Hospital.
