October 7 accusation from former Israeli intelligence officer to Netanyahu

In his post on his account on the US-based X platform, Seri argued that Netanyahu "received many warnings but did not take any steps by acting arrogant and proud" before the attack.

Pointing out that testimonies regarding these warnings appeared in media outlets around the world, Seri said, "They warned him, but he ignored them all." he said.

Former intelligence officer Seri argued that these warnings were one of the reasons why Netanyahu opposed the establishment of an official commission to investigate the October 7 events.

Seri concluded his post by saying, "Now the facts are coming out. Days before the disaster, all the red lights in front of Netanyahu were on inside and outside the country, but he did nothing." He concluded with the following statements.

In the news published in Israel's Haaretz newspaper and based on the research of the US-based The Atlantic magazine, it was reported that former Egyptian Intelligence Director Abbas Kamil secretly visited Israel 11 days before the attack on October 7, 2023 and warned that Hamas was preparing for a major attack.

Hamas's armed wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, launched a comprehensive attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, on the grounds of "responding to the continuous violations against the Palestinians and sacred values, especially the Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Approximately 74 thousand Palestinians have died and 175 thousand people have been injured in Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7.
