President Erdoğan: Artificial intelligence should be developed human-oriented

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan speaks at the MÜSİAD International Trade Fair and International Business Forum Closing Programme.

President Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

- Artificial intelligence is reshaping both our individual and business lives. Artificial intelligence models and robotic technologies, which develop day by day, directly affect production and consumption processes. Just as the real sector uses the opportunities of artificial intelligence, entrepreneurs, industrialists and investors also benefit from these innovations.

- The real danger that should not go unnoticed is this; If you do not pay attention to the human factor when developing artificial intelligence, you may encounter results opposite to what you want. If you do not protect the values ​​that make people human, if you focus on winning the competition at all costs, all the technologies you develop will bring harm, not benefit. These issues need to be addressed in depth. As Muslims, we have to constantly review our economic and commercial relations in the light of the values ​​that guide our lives.

We are going through days where the global system is at an impasse. We are all exposed to the effects of this storm in many areas. We stated that from Palestine to Yemen, from Sudan to Somalia, from Rakhine to Iran, any prescription that does not include justice has no equivalent on the ground. Even though the genocidal murderers who murdered tens of thousands of innocents in Gaza and Lebanon were uncomfortable with us confronting them with the truth, we boldly expressed what we knew to be true.
