Stock market allegations from CHP Spokesperson Zeynel Emre about Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya and her husband

In his statement at the Bahçelievler 1st Ordinary District Congress, NEW Party Spokesperson Zeynel Emre made allegations regarding the transactions of former AKP Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya and her husband İlyas Kaya in the stock market.

“WHY DID NO ONE DO ANYTHING TO STOP THESE TRANSACTIONS DURING 10 MONTHS?”

Referring to the fund investigation and the rise of some stocks on the stock market, Emre said:

"For example, one of the holding companies goes public at 46 lira in 2025. Each share increases from 46 lira to 4 thousand lira in 20 months. There is no production... I wonder if there are people at the AKP Headquarters, at the headquarters level, at the level of ministerial names?

His name was mentioned within the scope of the investigation. We said we are asking, in a press conference last week. Did you hear a sound or not? We asked again and said that the Minister of Finance and the Chairman of the CMB said that there were suspicious transactions 10 months ago.

Why didn't anyone do anything to stop these transactions for 10 months? He allowed his activity. Because they have their own money, their spouses' friends have money. They want to attract them.”

ATTENTION-ATTENTING CLAIM ABOUT FATMA BETÜL SAYAN KAYA

Emre continued his speech, claiming that Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya was trading in Özata Denizcilik shares and said:

"AKP Deputy Chairman is currently on duty. Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya was previously the Minister of Family and Social Policies, that is, the minister who was appointed to defend the rights of poor children in our country, women who are subjected to violence, and people who are in a really difficult situation in terms of social policies. Her current position is the President of Social Policies, that is, they appointed her to that position so that she could do the same duty in the party."

Emre made the following allegations regarding the share transactions allegedly made by Kaya:

"What did this lady do? It starts on April 8. Look, she bought 250 thousand units of Özata shares at 255 liras. When it comes to September, Turkey will hear about it from here, she sold it at 4 thousand 482 liras. Look, she bought 250, sold it at 4 thousand 882 liras. How much did she invest? She deposited 63 million 359 thousand liras. She withdrew 1 billion 344 million liras. In 4 months. Now, you have been a minister and a member of parliament in this country, and this nation has honored and rewarded you like this. Isn't this someone in a position that should know that no matter what you invest in Turkey, there will be no normal profit of 20 times? Where is 255 lira?

Zeynel Emre claimed that Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya's husband İlyas Kaya also carried out similar actions. Emre said, "He did not do it alone," and said:

"The lady's husband, İlyas Kaya, also bought 150 thousand shares at 255 liras. Likewise, he sold them at 4 thousand 482 liras. He deposited 99 million 687 thousand liras and withdrew 826 million liras. The main share is ÖZATA, but there are two other places where they bought relatively fewer shares."
