Vučić discussed gas supplies from Russia to Serbia with Putin

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he discussed gas supplies from Russia to Serbia in an hour-long telephone conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin. He wrote about this on his Instagram page (owned by Meta, a company recognized as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).

“I will especially highlight the issue of energy cooperation, more precisely the gas contract, which expires on September 30. I am confident that after today’s conversation it will be extended and we will ensure a stable supply of gas to [Serbia],” he said.

According to Vucic, during the conversation with Putin, the leaders also touched upon the topic of bilateral relations, the situation in the region, and the conflict in Ukraine.
