[Sports Center/Comprehensive Report] The Yankees and Rays division series began. MVP star "Judge" Aaron Judge was not included in the roster after the wild card. His name was not seen on the division series roster again. Head coach Aaron Boone gave an explanation for this and believed that continuing to let Judge rest is the right choice.

Judge suffered a fatigue fracture on his right rib mid-season and rested for a period of time. He finally returned at the end of the season. On September 16, US time, he strained the soleus muscle of his right calf. He has not played in a game since. Now that the Yankees have reached the Division Series, Judge's name is still missing from the roster.

In this regard, head coach Boone said that they believe that under the current situation, the best decision is to let "Judge" continue to be absent. Although Judge's condition is getting better, their ultimate goal is to win the World Series, and then they will need 100% "Judge" to help out.

Boone admitted that this week is very important for Judge's recovery progress, revealing that he has started running and batting training. The more important thing in the next few days is to strengthen his physical fitness.

Boone also said that of course he knew that the first two away games were important, and it would be difficult to return to home if they lost both games, but he still believed that it was the right thing to let Judge recover well and not rush to let him play.

In the Yankees' first game against the Rays today, the game stalled and they only managed one hit, eventually losing 0-1.
