Family of pilates teacher who died after being admitted to hospital says the report has not yet been completed

Pilates teacher Lorraynne Bueno de Araújo, aged 32, died after being hospitalized with respiratory problems in Gurupi. The death report has not yet been completed.

Lorraynne was admitted to the hospital on Saturday (19) and was confirmed dead on Monday (21). The family suspects that she died from Covid-19.

Considered healthy by her family, the professional had been working in the area for around 10 years. The burial took place on Tuesday morning (22) in Gurupi.

Pilates teacher Lorraynne Bueno de Araújo, aged 32, died after being admitted to the Gurupi Regional Hospital (HRG) with respiratory complaints. According to the family, the report that should indicate the cause of death has yet to be completed.

The death was confirmed on Monday night (21). Lorraynne was admitted to the hospital on Saturday (19), after feeling unwell and experiencing shortness of breath. She was intubated.

The family believes that the death was caused by Covid-19 and reported that she would undergo a test to confirm the suspicion, but she died before the test was carried out.

"We're thinking it was actually Covid, some virus that she acquired during this period. Because it was very quick. The report hasn't come out yet, it's been 10 days," said her sister, Dayane Ribeiro Dias.

g1 requested information about the case from the State Department of Health (SES), but did not receive a response until the last update of this report.

The professional's death caused commotion on the internet and among acquaintances, who mourned the loss. Graduated in Physical Education, the teacher built a career in the area of ​​health and physical activity and was considered one of the most respected pilates professionals in Gurupi.

Lorraynne was co-owner of a pilates and physiotherapy studio and had worked as a pilates and bodybuilding instructor for around ten years. On social media, I shared content focused on well-being and body awareness.

Her sister, Dayane Ribeiro Dias, stated that Lorraynne led an active and healthy life and was considered the "family athlete". According to her, the teacher was an extroverted, helpful person and passionate about dancing, especially forró.

"She liked to dance, she was very outgoing, she loved to eat well and she liked Japanese food. My sister was super healthy, the healthiest in the family," said Dayane.

The burial took place on Tuesday morning (22), at Cemitério São José, in Gurupi.
