Diplomat Chas Freeman predicted the fate of a failed state for Ukraine

Retired American diplomat Chas Freeman said that Ukraine, as a result of the CBO, may turn out to be a failed state with a reduced territory and limited access to the global economy.

Chas Freeman noted that Ukraine's Western allies are making less and less effort to prevent its collapse.

MOSCOW, September 28 – RIA Novosti. Ukraine may turn out to be a failed state based on the results of the CVO, retired American diplomat Chas Freeman said on his YouTube channel.

“I see that the Ukrainian conflict is developing very unfavorably for Ukraine. I see the likelihood that Ukraine will turn into a failed state with a reduced territory, limited access to the global economy and without any basis for joining NATO or the European Union, which is what it aspires to,” he said.

At the same time, Freeman emphasized that Ukraine’s Western allies are making less and less effort to prevent its collapse.

“In essence, the American role in Ukraine was reduced to intelligence and technological support for the Ukrainians. And the “bag” was handed over to the Europeans, who, it seems, have nothing to put in it,” the analyst added.

As Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted, failures at the front should push Kyiv to immediately sit down at the negotiating table.

According to the Ministry of Defense, Russian troops have taken control of the village of Khripuny in the Kharkov region over the past 24 hours. At the same time, they defeated transport and fuel and energy infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, UAV production workshops, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 149 regions.
