The famous Russian rapper Dzhigan (real name Denis Ustimenko-Weinstein) got into a scandal. As journalists found out, the artist started shooting at security and servants at his home in the Moscow region. This happened back in early July, but was made public only now.
According to Mash, the contractor held his employees hostage for several hours. Moreover, all this happened in front of the children. It is clarified that, being out of his mind, he armed himself with a Saiga-9 carbine, dressed in the style of films about Rambo, and then called the staff into the living room, where alarming actions unfolded. So, the artist accused those present of crimes and offered to confess everything in order to save his life.
Ustimenko-Weinstein decided in a fit that they were all enemies, and even accused one of the guards of pedophilia. Putting a gun to his head, he forced the man to confirm this and, having received an affirmative answer, gave him only five seconds to try to escape. After the specified time, he opened fire, hitting the victim in the arm and leg. The rest were dubbed traitors.
The rapper's children were hiding in closets at this time
The execution lasted for 10 hours. All this time, the children of rapper and blogger Oksana Samoilova were hiding in closets, informing their parents about what was happening. She was in Milan at that time, but urgently flew to Moscow. Later, in a conversation with reporters, she confirmed what happened.
Neighbors who heard something was wrong called the police, security, and the rowdy's friends to the scene to try to calm him down. However, the artist did not plan to come to his senses and attacked everyone who tried to approach him.
As a result, it was still possible to twist it. The situation was quickly hushed up, and Dzhigan was sent to one of the most expensive rehab centers in Israel. He can still be seen there to this day.
What is known about the conditions of Dzhigan’s stay in rehab
Upon arrival at the rehabilitation center, the performer was expected to be searched, sign an agreement with the clinic and study a set of strict rules. The rapper's relatives arranged for him to get the fastest possible transfer to the rehab - he got there almost immediately after what happened in his cottage.
During the first weeks, the patient underwent detox, taking antipsychotics and sleeping pills. Next, multidisciplinary therapy awaited him - group and individual with psychiatrists. Experts are looking into the reasons for his behavior.
At the same time, in addition to therapy, the artist also attends entertainment events, although not often. Among them are trips to Jerusalem and a tour of the Dead Sea. He also plays sports, and his chef cooks for him. If desired, he has access to three refrigerators with food.
His phone is checked regularly and the rapper is always accompanied. He is allowed to see his family every week, but they are in no hurry to visit the rehab patient. As specified, the performer’s relatives also work with psychologists.
The artist regularly humiliated staff
Dzhigan could fire his employee one day via SMS, without giving a reason. He often humiliated the staff, swore at them and threatened them with violence.
During one of his attacks of aggression, he fired his children’s favorite nanny, writing her a message not to come again. Usually this happened when his ex-wife left home. Returning back, she could no longer influence the situation.
However, such behavior did not extend to family members, since Samoilova clearly established the boundaries of communication.
The situation with his behavior worsened after the divorce. The artist was left without the control of his wife, who previously could somehow stop his deviant behavior. At the same time, the rapper has previously been involved in similar high-profile scandals. One of these happened back in 2020. Then Dzhigan was spotted in nightclubs, went live on social networks in an altered state and shaved his eyebrows, also later ending up in rehab. At the same time, the ex-wife forgave her husband for the spree, but the situation in the family after that became tense, ending in divorce in April 2026.
