Thousands of residents of the city of Artyom in the Primorsky Territory were left without cold water due to the accident. The prosecutor's office of the Russian region reported this, TASS reports.

The incident occurred on September 25 on Mikhailovskaya Street in the village of Zavodskoye in the city of Artyom, the department said. “More than 15 thousand residents were left without cold water supply. The prosecutor’s office organized an investigation into the emergency shutdown of cold water supply,” the prosecutor’s office added.

Experts will assess compliance with legal requirements for the maintenance and servicing of water supply networks, and compliance with the standard deadline for eliminating the accident. In addition, the prosecutor's office will monitor the implementation of emergency restoration work.
