The Civil Protection warning predicts scattered rainfall with a predominantly shower and thunderstorm character from late tomorrow morning in Lombardy, Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna, extending to Tuscany, Umbria, Marche and Abruzzo. The phenomena will be accompanied by heavy showers, strong gusts of wind, local hailstorms and frequent electrical activity. On the basis of the forecasted phenomena, a yellow alert for weather-hydro risk has been assessed for tomorrow in 13 regions.

Fires in Abruzzo, multiple fronts open, night garrisons set up
In Abruzzo there is confirmation of the serious difficulties due to the lack of air vehicles assigned by Rome, by the national coordination managed by the civil protection, in combating the fire emergency: in the evening bulletin issued by the Abruzzo Civil Protection, the fires are taken stock of and the breakdowns that prevented the use of four of the seven scheduled vehicles are reported in the balance sheet. Mountain: rescued two hikers in Friuli Venezia Giulia, one was suffering from hypothermia
The rescue operations of two young hikers from Bologna concluded around 8pm, first caught by rain and then by a strong thunderstorm with lightning at an altitude of 1900 meters below Forcella Urtisiel, descending towards the Giaf refuge. One of the two had slipped, causing a severe head injury and the other was in hypothermia due to the rapidly dropping temperatures. Sores activated the Forni di Sopra Alpine Rescue station which, together with the Guardia di Finanza, immediately mobilized four rescuers who tried to climb back to the pass with a stretcher in tow as quickly as possible, first with the off-road vehicle and then on foot, given that initially the helicopter was not available. The rescuers arrived at high altitude from the young people under the thunderstorm with lightning, then an opening was opened to allow the second helicopter to operate which had become available in the meantime, and which was also able to have a doctor on board as well as the mountain rescue helicopter rescue technician. The crew was winched on site and both girls, with the help of the other ground team technicians, were evacuated and taken to base camp, where the injured woman was handed over to the ambulance.

Mountain, climbers struck by lightning in the Belluno area: two injured
Two teams of Polish rock climbers in difficulty due to bad weather on Ra Gusela in the Belluno area, with one hit by lightning on the wall.
