2 trucks of spoiled and expired food were seized in Gaziantep

During the food inspection carried out in Gaziantep, approximately 2 truckloads of spoiled, expired and changed-date chips and soft candies were seized.

Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Police teams and Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry teams carried out an inspection at a food business in the city.

During the investigation of the teams, it was determined that the expiration dates of a large amount of chips and soft candies were changed, false dates were printed on the products and some products were spoiled.

As a result of the inspection, approximately 2 truckloads of products were seized.

While the products determined to pose a risk to public health were kept by the teams, penal action was taken against the business.
