Armed fight in Gaziantep: 2 dead, 1 injured

İlker Enes Arı and Abdülkadir Yeter died and Serkan Sarı was injured as a result of A.S. opening fire with a gun on his enemies with whom he was fighting in Gaziantep's İslahiye District.

According to DHA, the incident took place around 19:00 near Tahtaköprü Dam in Yolbaşı District.

A.S. met near the dam to talk to İlker Enes Arı, Abdülkadir Yeter and Serkan Sarı, with whom he allegedly had an enemy. The argument that broke out between the two hostile parties quickly turned into a fight. İlker Enes Arı, Abdülkadir Yeter and Serkan Sarı were injured when A.S. opened fire with the gun he pulled from his waist. Upon the notice of the surrounding people, gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.

Upon check-up by the medical team, it was determined that Arı and Yeter had died. The injured Serkan Arı was taken to İslahiye State Hospital by ambulance. The bodies of Arı and Yeter were taken to the morgue of the Gaziantep Forensic Medicine Institute after the gendarmerie's examination at the scene.

The gendarmerie took action to capture A.S., who escaped after the incident, and continues the investigation in many aspects.
