Israeli Fire in Gaza Strip: 1 Dead, 1 Injured

According to information received from health sources, 33-year-old Muhenned Hasan Abu Medyen was shot by Israeli forces in the town of Ez-Zehra in the central part of the Gaza Strip.

The body of Medyen, who lost his life, was brought to Aqsa Martyrs Hospital.

On the other hand, a Palestinian who was shot and injured by Israeli forces in the Burayj Refugee Camp in the central part of the Gaza Strip was taken to Al-Awde Hospital for treatment.

Local sources and eyewitnesses stated that Israeli military vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) opened fire on the east of the Gaza Strip, and warships opened fire on the coastline in the central and northern parts of the city.

Sources noted that in the north of the city, the Israeli army targeted Palestinian houses and carried out large-scale destruction, and the sounds of explosions in the region were heard from many points of the city.

According to the data of the Ministry of Health in Gaza, more than 73 thousand Palestinians have lost their lives and more than 174 thousand people have been injured in Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

In addition to casualties, Israel's attacks completely destroyed 90 percent of the residences, infrastructure and basic service facilities in Gaza.
