The identities of the bodies found after the ship disaster off the coast of Kyrenia were determined by DNA testing.

The Prime Ministry announced that DNA studies determined that the two bodies found over the weekend after the ship disaster off the coast of Kyrenia belonged to 5-year-old Mehmet Asaf Biçer and Nihat Pancar. During today's search efforts, another body was found.

The Prime Ministry made a new statement regarding the ongoing search efforts following the ship disaster off the coast of Kyrenia.

In the statement, it was reported that the DNA studies carried out on the two bodies found over the weekend were completed and it was determined that one of the bodies belonged to 5-year-old Mehmet Asaf Biçer and the other to Nihat Pancar.

In the statement, it was stated that another body was found in the ongoing search efforts today, and that DNA studies were initiated to identify the person.

The Prime Ministry stated that the search efforts are continuing using all the resources of the state and said, "We wish God's mercy to the people who lost their lives and our condolences to their families. We wish patience and fortitude to our missing relatives."
