Attack on oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz

In the statement made by UKMTO, it was stated that information was received that an oil tanker was hit while passing through the Strait of Hormuz yesterday.

It was stated that a fire broke out in the tanker that was hit, the fire was later extinguished and no crew members were injured or killed.

It was stated that no environmental impact was reported as a result of the attack and the authorities were examining the extent of the incident.
