Serious accident kills two people and leaves two injured on a highway in the interior of SP

The driver of the truck, a Scania model, reported that he was traveling along the highway to access a service station when an unidentified vehicle, which was in front of him, braked suddenly. To avoid the collision, he made a maneuver without noticing the approach of a Chevrolet Trailblazer that was traveling in the lane.

The vehicles collided sideways, and the Trailblazer was thrown into the median. One person died at the scene. The second death was confirmed by the dealership at 0:40 am, after the victim was admitted to the hospital.

Two other people were seriously injured and two were unharmed. The injured were rescued, but there was no information about which hospital they were taken to.
