Grimaldi Group: 30 ships in regular services and new investments

"Despite growing geopolitical tensions and the threat of increasingly extensive trade barriers, today we employ 30 ships in regular services connecting Asia with all the other continents: we have consolidated existing connections to Europe and Africa, inaugurated new lines to Latin America and Oceania, and launched a new service between China and the Philippines." This was stated by the CEO of the Grimaldi group, Emanuele Grimaldi, as he opened the XXVII Euromed Convention From Land to Sea in Sardinia at the Forte Village in Pula. "We firmly believe that the free market and fair competition remain the engine of prosperity and must therefore be protected," he adds.

The CEO also announced new investments in the fleet. "Two future projects of the Group, both already at an advanced stage of study, concern the design and construction of new generations of ConRo and multipurpose units", capable of combining the transport of cars and trucks with that of containers, said Grimaldi. “Our R&D department is already working on the most innovative solutions, with a clear objective: to make these ships the most environmentally flexible and technologically advanced in the world in their respective segments,” he said.
