Very high tension in the Strait of Hormuz. American forces hit three Iranian oil tankers after the Revolutionary Guard Corps fired ballistic missiles at two US ships patrolling the waters in the region and the Pasdaran responded in a continuous exchange of fire, announcing in the evening the attack on several vessels - including some allegedly linked to the United States - in retaliation. The US had previously said that no American personnel were injured and that American forces "permanently rendered Iranian oil tankers MT/Downy off Kharg Island, and M/T Stark 1 near Jask" unusable. The United States also "completely destroyed the tanker M/T Kylo in the Gulf of Oman, hitting it at several critical points, after ordering the crew to abandon ship."
Donald Trump has issued a warning to Tehran, declaring that if they are "not smart" they will end up with a "Strait of Hormuz that will no longer be needed". According to Trump, new pipelines are being created that could lead to bypassing the Strait, through which until a few months ago a fifth of global oil and gas passed. Haaretz reports it, specifying that around 200 protesters gathered in Habima square in Tel Aviv. In Lebanon, three attacks were reported in the village of al-Mansouri, in the southern part of the country. Other attacks were reported in the al-Nabatieh al-Fawqa area.
