Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 sales in South Korea increased by 20 percent. This comes right after Apple introduced its first foldable-screen iPhone. According to data from the country's industry affiliates, sales of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 have increased since the launch of the iPhone Duo.

APPLE AND SAMSUNG IN THE FOLDABLE SCREEN PHONE STAGE

Samsung, which has made a name for itself in the foldable screen phone market for many years, has more global customers than its China-based competitors such as Huawei and Xiaomi. Naturally, Apple's biggest rival in terms of foldable screen phones is shown to be Samsung.

Following some criticism against the iPhone Duo, the number of people returning the phone increased. Apart from the screen problems, the high price started to direct users to alternatives.

As a reminder, while the Galaxy Z Fold 8 has a price tag of approximately $ 1,700, the iPhone Duo has a much higher price tag of $ 2,451. While Z Fold 8 is sold in Türkiye at prices starting from 131 thousand 999 TL, the starting price of iPhone Duo is 229 thousand 999 TL.
