They find skeletal remains of a baby in the house of Santa Bàrbara after a complaint from the grandfather

The Mossos d'Esquadra have found skeletal remains of a baby in the house in Santa Bàrbara (Tarragona) where they were looking for clues after his grandfather reported his disappearance, facts for which the minor's parents were arrested last Wednesday in Valencia in an open homicide case.

Square 2 of the investigation section of the Court of First Instance of Amposta has a case opened under secrecy for this case, as reported yesterday afternoon by the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia.

According to Europa Press, the judge on duty for incidents in Valencia - of the Court of Instruction No. 10 - ordered on Wednesday afternoon that the couple detained in relation to the alleged disappearance of their baby in Santa Bárbara (Tarragona) appear before the judge in charge of the case.

According to the Valencian media Levante EMV and reported by Europa Press, the complaint was filed by the baby's paternal grandfather, who told the police that his daughter-in-law had informed him of the child's death and that she had buried him at home in a cardboard box.

Both the National Police and the Mossos d'Esquadra wanted to confirm whether the baby, whose disappearance had been reported, really existed, since the grandfather had never seen him, while he had previously met the other five children of the detainees.
