Man wanted for shooting pregnant wife and friend in the head in Piauí

The pregnant woman shot in the head in Pio IX, in the south of Piauí, lost the baby she was expecting, according to the Military Police of Piauí (PM-PI). Her partner, Vicente Sátiro da Costa, 34, is wanted and named as the main suspect in the crime.

Another woman, said to be a friend of the victim, was also shot. The two were found on a road, rescued by local residents and taken to a local hospital. According to the police, their health condition is serious.

According to the Military Police, after the crime, Vicente Sátiro da Costa fled using the motorcycle of one of the victims. On Monday night, police received information that he had gone to a sister's house carrying a shotgun.

To g1, Sergeant Joelson Nascimento, from the Military Police Group (GPM) of Pio IX, reported that, after passing by his sister's house, the suspect had gone to another residence, where he picked up a hammock, water and other supplies.

The Military Police reported that the search for Vicente Sátiro da Costa continues. Information that could help locate the suspect can be passed on to the authorities by calling (89) 98109-4567 and (89) 99910-6075.

"We guarantee absolute secrecy and ask that the population does not offer any type of assistance or support to this individual", highlighted Commander Joelson.
