Man stabs ex-partner and three other people and dies after attacking police officers in Maracanã, Pará

According to the Military Police, the suspect, identified as Éder Nilson, invaded the property located in the Campina neighborhood and stabbed the victims. Among the injured was his ex-partner, as well as three other people who were at the residence.

The military began negotiating for him to surrender, but the man refused orders and stated that he would only leave the place after committing murder. The attacker then walked towards the police with the knife. To contain the attack and ensure the team's safety, one of the police officers shot him.

Éder was rescued and taken to the municipal hospital, but he did not survive his injuries and died in the health unit.

The case was registered at the local police station, and the death due to police intervention will be investigated by the authorities. There is no updated information on the health status of the four stabbed victims.
