Canceled the exam results of valedictorian D01 Bac Ninh because the examiner reminded him

After Bac Ninh's D01 valedictorian had his graduation exam score canceled because he was reminded by the examiner, a female student who copied his homework and scored 9.5 in Math had half of his points deducted.

The Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province said on the afternoon of September 7 that it had made a decision after consulting with the Ministry of Education and Training.

Specifically, the Department canceled the results of a female student due to being reminded by the supervisor. This child once led the province's D01 (Literature, Math, English) group with 27.75 points. Another student had 50% of his Math score deducted, from 9.5 to 4.75, because he copied the "valedictorian" above. In addition, the Department said the supervisor will be "handled according to regulations", but did not provide details.

The incident originated from information spread on social networks in early July, claiming that a female student at Luong Tai High School received help from the supervisor to solve the exam questions, so she scored 10 in Math and 9.5 in English. The female student also let her friend copy the lesson, helping her score 9.5 points in Math, despite her average academic performance.

This year, many serious high school graduation violations were discovered. Among them, at Tuyen Quang High School for the Gifted, 326 candidates had to retake the exam, and more than 30 people were prosecuted for violating exam regulations. In Quang Tri, 5 candidates from Le Truc High School had their results canceled for the same reason.
