Minister Piantedosi announces the expulsion of the rapper Bratan for the blockade of the Milan-Meda

Stopping traffic along the Milan-Meda to make an unauthorized music video is much more than a stunt and whoever organized it put the lives of motorists in danger. Therefore he is socially dangerous, his residence permit should be revoked and he should be expelled. This is what Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi explained when announcing the return to Moldova of the rapper Bratan, stage name of Nicolae Novacenco, a 31-year-old who arrived in Italy in 2009.

He was the motorcyclist at the head of a group of dozens of young people on scooters who had effectively blocked the important highway a few kilometers north of Milan nine days ago, creating very long queues of stopped vehicles entering and exiting the Lombard capital, "putting the safety of motorists in transit at serious risk", as Piantedosi explained.

When the police arrived, the group had already disappeared but the trapper actually reported himself as he had posted the scene filmed with a drone on his social networks.

"The investigations, also conducted through the analysis of various social profiles, made it possible to identify him as the motorcyclist leading the group that had paralyzed traffic - continued the minister -. In consideration of his social danger, his residence permit was revoked and he was put on the first flight to his country of origin".

Bratan's lawyer will appeal to the TAR and defined the provision as "adopted only in the wake of media exposure, as if to teach someone a lesson. We will challenge it at the TAR". A job in a shipping company, a partner and a son who has not yet turned one, the trapper had already been reported for crimes such as possession of weapons, possession of offensive objects, receiving stolen goods and possession of narcotics.

Also for this reason the Milan Police Headquarters has now revoked his residence permit and the Prefecture has expelled him with immediate effect, making him board the first plane that took off from Malpensa towards Moldova.

"The State confirms its line of firmness towards those who violate the law by blocking a public road and endangering other people. There can be no tolerance for those who do not respect the rules of our system", concluded Nicola Molteni, Undersecretary of the Interior who thanks "the police and all the authorities who worked to ensure that this result was achieved quickly".
