Franco Baresi's mural in Milan vandalised: the portrait erased with spray

The face of Franco Baresi "erased" with the spray: this is how the portrait of the historic Rossoneri captain now appears under the headquarters of Casa Milan, where a mural was dedicated to him in Piazza Gino Valle after his death on 31 July at the age of 66. An act of vandalism that outraged the fans, after the photograph, posted on social media by Milan city councilor Alessandro Giungi, quickly made the rounds on the web, becoming viral: "Vandalizing a mural that commemorates Franco Baresi is such a vile and miserable gesture that it makes me feel deeply sorry for the author of such shame", wrote Giungi himself accompanying the photograph that testified to what happened.

The work was created by "Lucas.streetart", as the artist who created the portrait of the historic Rossoneri captain is known on social media, now irremediably damaged by the reckless gesture of an unknown person.
