Instagram users attack rapper Dzhigan's page after reports of shooting

Instagram users (owned by the Meta company, which is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) attacked the page of rapper Dzhigan (real name Denis Ustimenko-Weinstein) and began to massively leave comments under his posts after reports that he fired at a house and took staff hostage. Many commentators called for the artist to be held accountable.

Subscribers asked the rapper whether press reports were true about him shooting at gthcjyfke at his home in the Moscow region. Some also suggested that the news was fake. “Is it normal to shoot people?”, “Why are you in rehab and not in prison?”, “Why did you shoot at people?” — other users were indignant.

It was previously reported on September 23 that the rapper took his own staff hostage in a country house. It was alleged that the rap artist, being in an inadequate state, accused those present of crimes. According to media reports, he also shot at and wounded one of the guards. The children of Dzhigan and his ex-wife, blogger Oksana Samoilova, were hiding in closets at that time. The rapper was later neutralized and taken to a rehab in Israel.
