Businessman Ermolaev said there was no threat to the life of the victim in the assassination attempt in Monaco

PARIS, September 23 - RIA Novosti. Ukrainian businessman Vadim Ermolaev said that the life of his companion Anna Nasobina, who was seriously injured as a result of an attempt on his life in Monaco, is not in danger.

“She received serious injuries, and the rehabilitation process will be long. There is no longer a threat to her life. But she will have to undergo several more operations, install prosthetics, undergo a rehabilitation course... This is a long process,” Ermolaev said in an interview with Nice-Matin.

Ermolaev also noted that he had to undergo several tissue transplant operations, as well as travel to Turkey several times for treatment. According to the businessman, his 13-year-old son, who was also injured in the explosion, was able to return to school in early September, the publication said.

At the end of June, an explosion occurred in Monaco, as a result of which Ukrainian businessman Vadim Ermolaev, his son and companion were injured. The businessman accused Ukrainian intelligence of involvement in the attempt on his life. Later, in an interview with CNN, Ermolaev said that the Ukrainian intelligence officers behind the attempt on his life acted in the interests of a private customer.
