SINGER NİL ÖZALP WAS ALSO TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

"In the fund investigations carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Money Laundering Crimes Investigation Bureau, the 5th wave operation was carried out today and search, seizure and detention orders were given for 34 suspects. Thus, the number of suspects against whom proceedings have been taken to date has reached 217, 56 suspects have been arrested, and judicial control measures have been imposed on 88 suspects.
"MOVEMENTS IN 26 STOCKS ARE EXAMINED IN DETAIL"
The scope of investigations is not limited to available funds and suspects. "The movements in 26 stocks, which are considered to be the subject of speculative and manipulative transactions, are examined in detail, and the transaction histories, money movements and connections of individuals and accounts that have made extraordinary profits in a short time are also investigated."
“ASSETS OBTAINED FROM CRIME WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO SDIF”
Gürlek stated that those who try to make unfair profits from citizens' savings by manipulating the markets should know that "the traces of their unfair gains will be followed to the end" and added: "Legal processes will be carried out to transfer the asset values determined to have been obtained from crime to the fund to be established within the SDIF within the framework of the procedures stipulated by the law." gave the information.

THE FORMER PRESIDENT OF CMB WILL TESTIFY
It was learned that the former chairman of the CMB would testify as the final investigation launched into the developments in the capital markets.
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office summoned the former chairman of the Capital Markets Board (CMB), İbrahim Ömer Gönül, to testify.
It was learned that Gönül's statement will be taken as a suspect.
