Istanbul Governor Davut Gül made investigations regarding the Alsu and Tuğberk İmamoğlu ship accident.

Air elements are also participating in the search efforts in the region.

During these studies, a white box resembling a life preserver and a first aid box was seen on the water.

The teams reported the coordinates of the point where the objects were seen to the Coast Guard teams. Coast Guard teams started work in the area.

It is not yet clear whether the objects in question belong to the ship.

The families of the personnel on the sinking ship were brought to the TCG AKIN ship and informed about the ongoing work.

One of the two life rafts on the ship has been found, and the search for the other life raft continues. Relatives of the missing maintain hope that 10 crew members may be on this life raft.

The relatives of the missing crew continue to wait in the region.

Following the accident, the first captain of the ALSU ship, Ahmet Erarslan, and the third captain, Murat Evciman, were arrested for causing death and injury by negligence.

Both captains claimed in their statements that Tuğberk İmamoğlu hit them.

Third captain Evciman stated that he joined the ship only one day before the accident and had seven months of maritime experience.

The expert report of the ship accident off the coast of Silivri contains important information.

The statements made immediately after the accident were that Alsu caused the ship named Tuğberk İmamoğlu to sink and that he performed a series of dangerous maneuvers despite the warning.

The first expert report prepared shows that both ships had problems with personnel and navigational equipment and that the accident was almost inevitable.

The development of the accident was summarized in the report as follows;

- Murat Evciman was on duty as the 3rd Captain on the Alsu ship at the time of the accident. This duty was Evciman's first watch duty on this ship. Evciman did not recognize the navigational equipment on the ship.

- There was a trainee spotter on duty on the Alsu ship at 03.10. Meanwhile, all the staff, including the captain, were sleeping.

- Captain Ahmet Eraslan was also sleeping and woke up around 03.20 and tried to understand the situation.
