Going to the polls in Sweden tomorrow: Left and Right Blocks are neck and neck

According to the latest surveys conducted before the election in Sweden, it is stated that the center-left bloc consisting of the opposition Social Democrats, Center Party (Centerpartiet), Green Party and Left Party (Vansterpartiet) ranked first with 50.8 percent of the votes.

It is stated that the voting rate of the ruling right-wing bloc parties, the Moderate Conservative Party, the Christian Democrats, the Liberals and the Sweden Democrats, who support the current government from outside, is 47.6 percent.

According to the survey results, comments are made that the election will be a "head-to-head" fight between the left and right blocs.

The analysis also evaluates that it will be possible for the Sweden Democrats, who are not officially involved in the current government, to directly participate in the government for the first time after tomorrow's election.

In the program on Swedish State Television SVT, far-right Sweden Democrats leader Jimmie Akesson and Green Party Spokesperson Amanda Lind came face to face.

Akesson claimed that left-wing parties were conducting election campaigns in mosques and collecting votes.

Lind accused Akesson of targeting ordinary Muslims and said, "Ordinary Muslims who go to mosque and vote are seen as a problem. I think this is a terrible statement." he said.

In the last election held in Sweden in 2022, the participation rate was 84 percent.
